PW-Sat: the First Polish Pico-Satellite
PW-Sat is a project of CubeSat satellite. It is carried out by students from Warsaw University of Technology. Its main purpose is to test a novel method of deorbitation using an unfolding structure, which would like a parachute, accelerate the process of deorbitation thanks to remnants of the atmosphere and solar wind.
I was a member of On-Board Computer and Communications teams, where my work focused on design and development of embedded software and secure communication protocol.
Besides satellite software, we also created RSat: a remote satellite testing system, which was part of Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
